Peanut Butter Pie

I don't even remember where I found this, but I plan to make it soon! Maybe even next week while we are at the beach! It looks easy to fix in a hurry and I have a feeling it will be delicious!

Peanut Butter Pie

1 small carton of cool whip - thawed
1 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 box instant chocolate pudding
1 pie crust (graham cracker or other)

Make pudding according to directions on package. Mix peanut butter with powdered sugar. Put 2/3 of the peanut butter/powdered sugar mixture in the bottom of the crust. Put pudding on top. Layer the cool whip on top of the pudding. Sprinkle the rest of the peanut butter/powdered sugar mixture on top.

Sounds great! Then, in between bites, you can sing the Tom Paxton song, "Peanut Butter Pie"!!!

"Try, try some peanut butter pie.
If you don't think it's wonderful, I wanna know why.
It'll stick to your mouth til ya can't say 'Hi!',
Try, try some peanut butter pie."

Just havin' some quirky fun!

If you don't want to make the pudding, you can melt chocolate chips and stir those in.

This sounds similar to one I adapted from Hershey's. But I believe there was also a 1/4 cup of milk and an 8 oz thing of cool whip. And 8oz cream cheese. I guess it is different! Sorry. But it is yummy and can make 2 pies from the one thing of filling.
