What do you think this means???
Yep!! This photo was taken yesterday just after my realtor slipped the cover over top of the "for sale" sign that has stood in our yard for exactly one year. To the day.
Now, who says God doesn't have a sense of humor? Only He could work something like that out!
Sooooo, that's where I have been this week. In a frenzy of negotiations and signing papers and searching for new houses and... well, it's just all too much to even write about right now. But I will. I can't wait to share with you all the story of selling our house. Cause it's quite a story.
But for now, I have to shower, finish packing and get on a plane for Long Island, NY to lead a weekend women's retreat. I am looking forward to it and can't wait to see what God does in the lives of the women who are attending. If you think of it, please pray for me as I lead and for the women who will be there as they meet with God in a very personal way. I am in a tired and overwhelmed place right now after the week I have had and I just know that God is going to have to work through me, in spite of me. Just like He always does-- only perhaps a bit more.
I appreciate your prayers and I will update you all soon. And I am going to post a review, interview and another giveaway of Trish Ryan's book, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not. It is such a fabulous book-- I can't wait to tell you all about it!!

WOOOOOHOOOOO! Time to break out the sparkly stuff! I'm so happy for you. I guess you got your clear direction from God on this issue!
God will carry you through this weekend and I believe it will be one of the best you've ever had and the ladies will love you. I think the best speaking times are when it's all God's strength anyway.

Oh, this gives me hope. Our house has been on the market for about nine months.

By the way you and I were in the same SheSpeaks critique class at what I think was your first SheSpeaks conference back in 2003. I still have your evaluation. You have no idea how what blessing you were to this young, green, (eventhough I wore a bright pink suit) intimidated gal.
So go bless some other chicks for eternity this weekend. Little things make a big differnce. I'll be praying for you.

Congratulations Marybeth! Your life seems to be really blessed and busy right now, I wonder if God was preparing you for all of this when you had the down time with your foot. Whatever the case, it is cool that you can see so many exciting things happening!!
I will have to look into some of these books you are recommending (since it seems we like a lot of the same authors). CBS ended with an emotional sharing day and so I have some time before we start back up again next fall.

YEAHHHHH! I'm standing in my chair (the one on wheels) doing the Praise Jesus dance! Woooo Hoooo! Hopefully, I won't fall off the chair. Maybe I should stick with the tree sofa swing? I could hunt squirrels and count my yard gnomes at the same time... multi-task!
