Sort of. She Speaks 2010 was wonderful-- I so enjoyed meeting those of you who attended, signing copies of The Mailbox, and spending time with my P31 teammates. But... I am tired!! It might take me a few days of rest and recharging for my brain to get back to full working capacity.
Tomorrow Curt and I celebrate our 19th anniversary with a quick trip to Charleston SC. I am planning to spend the time just taking it easy. We come back to not much time before the kids go back to school-- which means back to school shopping. Shudder.
In the meantime, I have missed sharing life with you guys during the month of July. I was glad I took the break because July was a whirlwind month of family time and traveling to enjoy summer break. Now that August is upon us life will be transitioning from the fun freedom of summer to the routine and rules of school starting back. Which means, I will build more time in to blog.
Know that in the coming weeks I will be checking in here more regularly and updating you with what I am learning and experiencing. I look forward to it...

Glad you're back...I've missed your posts. And I'm so glad She Speaks went well. My dear, dear special friend, Joyce Ashley from down here in south GA, attended this year and last, and I told her if she had the chance to be sure and introduce herself to you. :o) She's one in a million! And I'm still hoping to make it back up there myself real soon.
Chad and I went to Charleston last year for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was so wonderful! I just love Charleston, and I read a lot of books set there. I hope you have a lovely time! Congrats on 19 years together, and may the Lord bless you with many more!

Happy anniversary to you both! Today is our 25th anniversary and we celebrated by taking a family trip to WA state. It was wonderful. I really enjoyed "The Mailbox." Many blessings to you and yours!

Yes, the "fun freedom of summer" is winding down for us too. Don't like the thought of "routine and rules of school" but there is a little something inside this homeschooling mom that is longing for some structure. Lesson plans to create, books to order ~ here we go!
