Welcome to all of you who stop by today after reading my devotion at P31! I am glad to have you here. I am in the midst of editing the novel I wrote that will come out in June... and running the new division of Proverbs 31-- a fiction book club for women called She Reads. Check it out at http://www.shereads.org/. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow to read my post on creating a home... the most important job I have!!
I found this blog post and cute video about the publisher for my novels and thought I would share it with you. I am proud to be a part of the David C Cook family and can't wait for my novel to come out this June! And another one the following June!! Phew!!

Oh my! Marybeth Whalen left a comment on MY blog???!!! And...{gasp}...she linked to me!!! I love Proverbs 31 ministries and have enjoyed their ministry in one way of another for about 7 years now. I don't currently get the P31 Magazine, but when I did I so enjoyed it and reading your articles. (I need to add this to my Christmas list this year!) Anyways, I'm so glad that I followed links and got to see what "Marybeth" was visiting me! Nice to meet you in bloggy land...keep up the great writing. I responded via e-mail to your comment and my offer stands. Anything I can do to help promote your books!
Marybeth,
I am writing to thank you for your P31 Devotional today. This met me right where my need is, as I struggle with internal fears. I need to place these before the Lord and continue to trust in Him. Thanks for the direction!
Good luck with the book, and book club, and your many other endeavors. You are and will continue to be a blessing to many!

I'm stopping by after Wednesdays's P31 devotional. You have no idea how much I needed to hear that today! What a good reminder that my refuge needs to be in God, not in other things. We are having a financial crisis right now (the economy has finally caught up with us). I've really been struggling the past few weeks with floundering around in the sea of financial uncertainty. I'd almost forgotten to follow the beacon of God's light to His safe refuge. Thank you!

Marybeth,
I've been doing a devotional based on the Psalms by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. So many times David cried out to the Lord, and the Lord heard HIm from His Holy Hill. I needed to be reminded again that the Lord is my refuge and strength, that very present help in time of trouble.
I have checked out the She Reads web site and love it. I volunteer at a Christian lending library and have fallen in love with reading all over again. I'm looking forward to checking out the books mentioned. Thanks for bringing encouraging words of hope to your readers. I can't wait to read your book.
Grace :)
