Heard from the dining room table, where my 12 yo was working on his long division (oh, the agony!) "This is terrible! No one else I know has to do this! I'm suing my parents for the rights to my own freedom."
I'd say the first day of "Summer School" at our house went just swimmingly!

This just gave me a chuckle. My 3 kids are 15, 17 and 21 so I don't usually hear this kind of comment anymore, but it certainly brought back memories of when I did make them do summer "school work." Thanks for making me smile!

We started school today. You think after a week break, they'd be ready for it, but they weren't. :)
