Today I have a devotion running for Proverbs 31. The days I have devotions run seem to always be busy ones-- and this one is no exception. We have two radio interviews today (which is so great) and my daughter has a physical therapy appointment in the middle of the day. (Just one of those things that couldn't be helped.) I am still trying to figure out how I am going to entertain my younger three for that hour in their tiny waiting room!

But in the midst of rushing around, I wanted to thank those of you who come by after reading about living a little i life... Today I get to practice living that life, serving and giving to those I love all day long.

How will you live a little i life today?

As for the three younger kids, bring some pre-cut paper, decoritve sissors, glue, etc. (Better ask if you can, though. ;) It wouldn't be good if you got kicked out for bringing in a pair of sissors.) That keeps kids opiciued most of the time.... (I'm 12, but I babysit for a couple kids while their parents are doing their Bible study with Paster.) Hope this helps!

i am stopping by after reading your devotion about the little i. It was wonderful and said so much. i have been trying to do a better job at this principal...and reading blogs and email about it helps me to keep that in perspective. God Bless You!

I had to stop by after reading your P31 devotion today. I think you may have been spying on me -lol. The book I am working on is "the little i am's", each chapter looking at one of our identities in Christ. I had emailed you several months ago and shared how it was your book "For the Write Reason" that started me on this journey toward publication (not that I'm there yet). Thanks so much for all you do for Him! Look forward to seeing you at She Speaks this year1

Great message this morning. Thank you. It reminded me of a pastor at church from India. His name is Emmanuel, but he always signs his name with a little "e". I asked him once about it and he said there is only one Emmanuel. He and his wife left a few months ago to plant a church in India. True sacrifical servants!

Marybeth very timely devotion as i am focusing on this very discipline. Specifically finding joy in serving others instead of doing what i want. Lately the i in me wants so much to be served. Isn't it great that when i seek him the selfish desires decrease and service becomes a joy. Thank You again. Looking forward to seeing you at She Speaks.

First, I love your new family pic. Gorgeous!

I also wanted to let you know that your devo was the devotion for my mom's circle today. Everybody loved it, and Mom and I had a great conversation about it.

Thanks for sharing your gift and some wise words!
