Scenes From A Christmas, Now Past

Before we pack away the decorations. Before we turn the calendar page. Before we put away the memories and file the pictures for the future. Before we stop listening to the music and relishing in the sights, smells and sounds that only Christmas can bring. Before we say goodbye to Christmas for another year, I wanted to share these scenes from our Christmas. Moments we will never get to have again:
A promise to a five year old fulfilled-- making a gingerbread house

sneaking some candy for more than just decorating

Eggnog french toast for breakfast on Christmas morning-- that's not his sippy cup, in case you were wondering...

Enjoying platefuls of french toast and bacon, giddy over a surprise cell phone tucked in a stocking

Waiting to open presents is so hard!

Piles and piles of presents at Mimi and Dada's

A book that serves as an investment in a future film maker's career

A living, breathing, furry present is the best present of all

Well, maybe the furry present and a Nintendo DS

Most of all, there are the faces of Christmas-- the thrilled expressions

The pure joy that is captured on these little faces that bring me such joy every day
