I can so relate. A few years ago I woke up with a painful, swollen ankle. I hadn't sprained it or hadn't had any kind of a twist accident. It was so painful I could hardly walk. When I went to the regular and ortho doctors they determined I had a stress fracture. I had joined Curves months before and think that maybe the exercise/machines did something. I have osteoporosis too and take meds for it, so that is a factor. I had to wear the boot thing that keeps your ankle straight for six weeks and I remember the pain. I remember crying at my desk at work after 3 weeks wondering when the pain would ever leave. But eventually it got better and healed. Yours will too, but right now, I can totally understand how frustrating it is and how much it hurts. My prayers are with you for healing and recovery. It is so hard to go from really active to immobile for sure.
Blessings,
KellyKellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05575872158431227773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3762514.post-23473750216052613872008-03-20T09:38:00.000-04:002008-03-20T09:38:00.000-04:00Because I couldn't resist, I listened to the song....Because I couldn't resist, I listened to the song. What a blessing for me! I can hardly type through the tears...it was like having a lullabye from God. (Granted He sounded a lot like James Taylor.) I'm sorry about your foot. A month ago I thought I was having an operation, and panicked over how everything would get done. It's great to have Godly, caring friends. They keep us sane!
BridgetBridgethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14258899938440586033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3762514.post-26504807357347014532008-03-19T23:28:00.000-04:002008-03-19T23:28:00.000-04:00This is so sweet.
